In recognition of the mental and financial toll of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Black student body, the BSA has launched the following COVID-19 Response to provide support towards its members;

1. The BSA has allocated funds to provide grocery produce boxes to 200 of its members to alleviate the financial burden of food expenses. To attain a food box, you must a) Be a BSA member b) Be an undergraduate student (proof through student card) and c) Sign up on the google form which is linked below

2. The BSA has compiled a resource sheet consisting of mental, financial and even artistic support specifically catered for Black students & the broader Black community. The resource sheet can be found on our bio or on our website.

The BSA will be working with FoodShare, an organization that works to provide aid through fresh foods, to assist members of the BSA. Students can sign up by filling out the short google form attached below. After filling out the form, you will be contacted if we are able to assist you. This program will be able to aid up to 200 students. Please keep in mind that this resource is only available to members of the BSA which you can sign up for by emailing uoft.bsaexec@gmail.com.
